Saristra Festival will partner with Verbena Festival for a summer event scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026, in the abandoned village of Palaiá Vlacháta (Old Vlachata) near Sámi, on the island of Kefalonia.
Organizers say the event will begin at 19:30 and will feature the Caribbean Pico sound system La Saramuya as a central part of the evening's setup.
The announced lineup includes Nicodemus, Edna Martinez, Guajiro, and Polyafrica.
Held in the ruins of the pre-earthquake settlement, the event continues the festival's established format of combining the island's rural setting with contemporary music, art installations, and cultural programming. Saristra has built its identity around activating the historic village site, using the location not simply as a backdrop but as part of the overall experience.
