The Kefalonia Tourism Partnership presents its new documentary-style video, “Craft – Lace – Memories,” inviting viewers to explore a treasured aspect of Kefalonia’s cultural heritage through the stories and hands of the people who preserve it.
The video celebrates the island’s rich tradition of lace-making and craftsmanship, revealing the artistry, patience, and dedication behind this timeless craft. Through personal narratives and evocative imagery, it highlights how memories, skills, and cultural identity are woven together and passed from one generation to the next, keeping an important part of Kefalonia’s heritage alive.
The Kefalonia Tourism Partnership brings together the Municipality of Argostoli, the Municipality of Lixouri, the Municipality of Sami, the Kefalonia and Ithaca Hoteliers Association, the Kefalonia and Ithaca Chamber of Commerce, the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), AEGEAN, Fraport Greece, and Marketing Greece.
